This weekend marks the first time T and J will record Bolabit music in the same room. The entire first album was recorded separately: synths in Detroit and drums in Chicago. What does this mean? Probably nothing at all. In fact, we may find that it simply doesn’t work and we might as well just quit, an idea that has been bandied about for well over a year.

This session will also allow for a bit of time for the shooting of the first Bolabit video. Jaime Torres and Dan Mullen have been given 98% creative control.

An update: the sophomore album is approximately 30% complete. It is rounding out a lot like the first but this time we’ve added some new synths and left room for some special guests on guitar and bass.
